Meeting Your Limiting Subconscious Beliefs
Why do we feel uncomfortable with addressing our shadow parts. These are the character parts of us that we don’t want to face. We push them into the depths of our psyche so that we don’t have to deal with them, and try not to display them. They are perceived as forbidden. Beyond the boundaries of what we have been led to believe that an acceptable human behavior should be like. These parts make us feel less than the confident survivors that we want to be seen as.
Here lies the problem.
They ARE a part of us. We can not run away from them. Worst of all, they keep showing up to let us know they are there and they are not happy. This results in our life taking unwanted turns, unwanted behaviors, unwanted events and because of the law of attraction, which has vast variables, (another topic) we are drawn to the environment in which these shadow parts are activated.
The only way to find freedom from the pain, fear, danger these parts generate is to stop running, face your resistance, let down your denial or defense, and begin to nurture these parts to a healthy vibration.
Here comes another problem.
If we decide to look at our problem parts, we are admitting to ourselves that we are less than what we have been trying to be. There are some that are totally oblivious to having problem and point fingers to blame others. Some know they have problems and have developed a victim personality. Those that know they have problems but don’t know what to do to heal their soul.
And then we have our ego. The part of us that has faced the world, navigated environments and protected us from harm. The ego is the part of us that put all those rejected parts into categories, stuffed them in boxes and stored them in the basement of our soul, our subconscious realm. On top of that, we have to learn to work with the ego to let us in to meet these parts so that we can nurture ourselves back to emotional health. You can not force anything here. You have to work with ego and ego has to work with you. The key element is a to approach with a vibrational frequency of over 500hz. Love, caring and understanding.
Easier said than done you say.
Not if you have a good set of tools and skillset to do the work. There came a time where I welcomed my pain, fear and chaos. I began to see it as an opportunity to take a deep dive and build on my ability to nurture my soul. When I learned I could work on the parts of me that had difficulty with interacting with a given environment, my world changed. I still had existing family issues, work issues, relationship issues, but I now gained clarity on my reactions, the reactions of others and my ability to interact took on a new level of competence.
My world started to evolve into a place of wonder, acceptance, and courage. I was playing the game, and I felt like I had a winning hand as well as an ace up my sleeve.
The Keeper – A Poem
Stifled in a box,
sealed with many locks,
Keys held close by the keeper,
who meets the bravest seeker.
In the box lies your own story.
In the box you seek your glory.
Dare not challenge what festers within,
for outside is more the grim.
Your great keeper has it sorted,
doubt will leave you thwarted.
So why do you yearn for more,
when your scared to knock on the door?
To find what the story line says,
that holds you set in your ways.
Take a chance and face your fear,
the keeper will make it clear.
Take a chance to explore what may be,
the story that helps set you free,
of the limits the keeper holds true.
Find the keeper, the story and you.
Then create a wider horizon,
expand what you lay your eyes on.
Navigate to a better description.
Learn to master the art of your fiction.
So the choice can be brighter and lifted.
So the weight of the story is sifted.
And the heavy crap lies where it should,
in a compost heap turned into good.
